Our customers are involved in a wide variety of industries such as Chemical, Oil & Gas, Pulp & Paper, Wastewater Treatment, Marine, Energy & Food, etc. In order to highlight the user-centric strategy more clearly, these customer divisions are further divided into two divisions – the Processing Technology Division and the Equipment Division – which promote and sell products to specific user groups.

Gustaf de Laval was a great technical genius, and his inventions included a centrifugal separator and the first practical steam turbine. During his lifetime, he registered 92 patents and founded 37 companies. In 1883, he and his partner Oscar Lamm Jr. founded AB Separator, the forerunner of today's Alfa Laval.
