The overall scale of Qiaobei business district is smaller than that of other Nanjing business districts, and is basically occupied by building materials and home furnishing halls and shopping plazas, the former including Hongyang Home Furnishing and Jinsheng Home Furnishing and various scattered shops along the street, and the latter Hongyang Plaza, Impression City and Tianrun Plaza. Hongyang Plaza brings together theme parks, department stores, supermarkets, home furnishing halls, etc., which is a huge commercial area with great influence and also drives the entire business district, while other shopping malls are community-based shopping centers, which are small in size and only radiate the surrounding residents. Residential areas such as Rising Sun Shangcheng and Tianrun City and Qiaobei Bus Terminal are located in Qiaobei business district, bringing a lot of passenger flow, but the consumption level is not high. Therefore, in general, the positioning of Qiaobei business district is relatively close to the people, and the per capita consumption is not high.
Qiaobei business district is far away from the subway exit, and at the same time, the Yangtze River Bridge, the core road connecting the main urban area and Qiaobei, is prone to traffic jams, and there is more construction in the area, so it is not very convenient to drive to Qiaobei business district from the main urban area. Hongyang Plaza
Built in 2011 and reopened in 2018 after renovation, Hongyang Plaza is a huge area divided into three sections: home, shopping and amusement park, which can meet multiple shopping and leisure needs. There are six major areas in the square, which are the International Furniture Museum, the Building Materials Museum, the Fashion Soft Decoration Hall, the Shopping Center, the Ocean Department Store and the Future World Theme Park.
