At the beginning of the 21st century, the development of bamboo carving in Jinling once came to a standstill due to the lack of promotion. Until 2009, Jinling bamboo carvings were included in the intangible cultural heritage of Jiangsu Province, making them gradually known to the public. In the same year, the Jinling Bamboo Carving Art Museum, founded by Zhao Rong, the inheritor of Jinling bamboo carving, was also completed at No. 4 Fuguishan, Xuanwu District.
