Grand Hyatt Xi'an opened in April 2018 as the first Grand Hyatt hotel in Northwest China. The interior design of the hotel was designed by Lim Hong Nin, the head of LTW Design in Singapore and a master of hotel design in Asia. The interior lighting designer for the hotel is Kwan Wing Kuen, who has designed luxury hotels including Tokyo Peninsula, Shanghai Peninsula and Four Seasons Hotel Macao.

The Maike Center, where the hotel is located, has a twin tower structure, in which the sky corridor more than 100 meters above the ground is uniquely designed, making the appearance of the hotel more magnificent and more designed. The hotel has 396 rooms and suites. There are five types of hotel rooms: Grand Hyatt Room, Grand Deluxe Room, Regency Club Room, Grand Parent-Child Room and Regency Club Deluxe Room, with room sizes ranging from 50 to 79.5 square meters. The hotel suites are available in three categories, ranging in size from 89 to 150 square meters. The design of the rooms uses desert and Silk Road elements to reflect the character of the city. Beige and red, representing the colors of the desert and pomegranate flowers. The blurred pavilion motif on the background wall of the room shows a mirage. The overall use of three color palettes of wood, russet and desert orange creates a retro, original room atmosphere.

In terms of dining, the hotel has 5 restaurants and bars. Among them, Allegro Italian Bar on the 23rd floor of the hotel is the only high-rise corridor restaurant in Xi'an, and the restaurant overlooks the entire high-tech scenery. Located on the 22nd floor, the Lobby Lounge offers exquisite handmade desserts and traditional afternoon tea sets, with a wide variety of afternoon teas, plenty of desserts and good looks. The café on the same floor offers a buffet of three meals a day and a la carte service, however, the buffet menu is few and the products are average.
