Xiangzimen Youth Hostel is the hostel with the highest occupancy rate in Xi'an. Located on Xiangzimiao Street, the hostel is a traditional house that is said to have been left behind by the cousin of Emperor Zhao Kuangyin of the Song Dynasty. The hostel is decorated in an antique style, with a patio in the middle, a glass curtain on top, a long corridor on both sides, long tables and chairs, and decorative paintings on the walls. Doors, windows, railings and furniture are made of wood with red lanterns.

Compared with other hostels, Xiangzimen Youth Hostel has more options for Kang room in terms of room type. The kang house was originally a common living room in the north, but the store did not set up a traditional ondol, but instead used coil heating, which was very warm in winter. In addition, the kang room also has the advantage of spacious space and has its own independent toilet. The disadvantage of the kang room is that there are no windows, this type of room is located on the negative 1st floor, the ventilation performance is poor, and the summer is humid.

There are not many types of multi-bed rooms in the hostel, and they are divided into 4 rooms and 6 rooms. In contrast, the quadruple room has a higher configuration, the room is a combination of two tatami mats and a bunk bed, and is equipped with a TV and a kettle, so it is recommended to stay. The shortcomings of multi-bed rooms are obvious, such as general hygiene, peculiar smell, outdated facilities, and poor sound insulation.

The rooftop on the fourth floor is one of the common rest areas of the hostel. The rooftop has a small fish pond, rockery and small vegetable garden, facing the city wall, which is suitable for enjoying the night view and is also a good place to enjoy the cool weather. The leisure area is equipped with a book bar, a tea bar, a bar, and game facilities such as dart boards, Go, and billiard tables. However, there are not many activities in the hostel, only once a week on Friday, the dumpling feast will be held, fortunately, there are many attractions near the hostel that are worth visiting, such as the Bell Tower, Drum Tower, Huifang, Xi'an Forest of Steles Museum, etc.

In terms of room prices, the multi-bed room of Xiangzimen Youth Hostel is 55 yuan/night, the two-person kang room is 188 yuan/night, the other room types are more than 250 yuan/night, and the family room has reached 300 yuan/night. Compared with the comprehensive environment, facilities, etc., the cost performance of Xiangzimen Youth Hostel is not as good as that of Seven Sages International Youth Hostel.
