Both sides of the Yangtze River and the Jialing River, especially near Hongya Cave, are excellent areas for enjoying the river view, and there are already high-rise buildings along the river. Most hostels or B&Bs are located in high-rise buildings on the banks of the two rivers, and apartments or houses are converted into hostels for multiple people.

The Sky City Youth Hostel is a converted apartment, with a height of the 15th floor with a view of the confluence of the two rivers. The living room, dining room, kitchen, balcony, and bathroom are all available. The walls of the living room are covered with Hayao Miyazaki's Totoro, and the warm lighting makes the whole living room warm and cozy. The viewing balcony not only has a panoramic view of the river, but also can feel the river breeze, which is natural and comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with an induction cooker, microwave oven, utensils, detergent, refrigerator, etc., so it is convenient to make a simple meal by yourself. Toiletries such as shampoo and shower gel are available in the bathroom, but it is recommended to bring your own personal items such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, and slippers.

Sky City has maximized its use of space, not only providing the choice of beds in multi-room rooms, but also making use of the living room and balcony, setting up a living room sofa bed and a balcony tent bed, as long as it is a place to sleep, beds can be arranged, which also makes a suite a little noisy. However, the river view room does have an excellent view, and the room has floor-to-ceiling windows, so the sunlight shines into the room bright and comfortable. If you wake up by the window, the sun and the river view are the sights that come into view when you open your eyes. However, the temperature of the bed by the window will be higher in the summer.

There is no shortage of river-view rooms in Chongqing, but with a panoramic view of the confluence of the two rivers and the Chongqing Grand Theater on the other side, Sky City is one of the few youth hostels that can meet the conditions.
