Kempinski Hotel Chongqing is located close to the Chongqing International Convention and Exhibition Center, and if you are a business person visiting the exhibition, you can save a lot of travel time by staying here.
Kempinski Chongqing is the 76th hotel under the umbrella of European hotel giant Kempinski Group. Founded in 1897, Kempinski is one of the oldest hotel groups and currently has nearly 100 five-star hotels worldwide. Created by Mr. Boyet of Menando B. Gappit Design Company, the Chongqing store features yellow and gold tones with silver and chrome lines for a layered look.
Kempinski's main building is 54 floors high and has a total of 416 guest rooms. The number of rooms is one of the best in Chongqing's five-star hotels, which can basically meet the accommodation arrangements for large-scale exhibitions. There are several types of guest rooms: Deluxe Room, Superior Deluxe Room, Executive Room, Executive Suite, Presidential Suite and Diplomat Suite. The Diplomat Suite has an interior area of 102 square meters, with a bedroom, a living room and a dining room that can accommodate up to 10 people. Guests staying in this suite are provided with round-trip airport transfers in a luxury limousine, as well as check-in and check-out at any time.
Kempinski has six restaurants covering Chinese, Western, German and Japanese cuisines. The dishes of Guohui Banquet Chinese Restaurant are mostly Sichuan cuisine, with rich dishes and authentic products. Paulaner Brasserie is a benchmark for German cuisine and a trusted choice for Chongqing's exotic restaurants, with three signature signatures: roast pork knuckle, German sausage platter and German beer. Akizuki Japanese cuisine is made with fresh ingredients, and in-store dining is available a la carte or a variety of buffet options at different price points. The Lobby Lounge and Kempin Food Lounge are mainly serving coffee and desserts, and are not at a very good level, just for passing the time. The Element Western Restaurant is a cafeteria, and the meals are mainly Western, but the quality is not sincere enough, and it does not reach the level of a five-star restaurant at all.
The hotel opened in 2012 and many areas have traces of old age. The level of service personnel is uneven, some personnel do not have a sense of active service, and occasionally there are cases where the room is not cleaned in time.
