In the spectrum of Shanghai international schools, Qibao Dwight Senior High School is very different, it is the educational marriage between Shanghai Qibao Town and Manhattan, New York, and it is also the first international high school in China to be jointly run by two high schools in China and the United States, which officially opened in September 2014.

The management team is composed of Qibao Middle School and Dwight School. In Shanghai, Qibao Middle School is a veritable first echelon, and the admission results of the annual college entrance examination in Qingbei are amazing, almost comparable to the four famous schools. The school recruits Shanghai and non-Shanghai junior high school graduates, and provides courses for grades 10-12 with a three-year high school system. The curriculum of Qibao Dwight retains the core Chinese curriculum (Chinese, History, Geography, Politics) and the advantage curriculum Mathematics, and introduces the advanced concepts, curriculum framework, teaching and assessment methods of the International Baccalaureate Curriculum, and each course will be set at an Advanced Level and a Standard Level. As a product of the Sino-American Ox School partnership, students at Shippo Dwight High School will have access to the global educational resources of Dwight School and the resources of Shippo Middle School Education Group. During the 3rd year of high school, Shippo Dwight students can apply to study at Dwight New York School, Dwight London School, Dwight Canadian School, and Dwight Seoul School for short-term study.

Seven Powers Dwight High School has six houses, and students in grades 10-12 are mixed into each house, and various after-school activities, residential life, sports competitions, etc., will be carried out in a house. However, according to students' feedback, the school's support for extracurricular activities is not strong, and there is a big gap with the situation where international school club activities are blooming.

In 2017, Qibao Dwight produced a total of 137 graduates in its first cohort, and the admission results were satisfactory, receiving olive branches from the top 30 universities such as Stanford University, Brown University, Carnegie Mellon University, University of California, Berkeley, and University of California, Los Angeles.
