The St. Regis is Starwood's premier luxury hotel brand. Opened in 2017, The St. Regis Shanghai Jing An is located at the junction of Jiangning Road and Beijing West Road, just minutes from fashion shopping malls such as Hang Lung Plaza, Westgate Plaza, Shanghai Centre and West Nanjing Road.
The St. Regis Shanghai Jing'an features 491 beautifully appointed guest rooms, including more than 60 suites and 56 St. Regis Residences. The price of the basic room is about 2,000 yuan, which is cost-effective. All rooms are located between the 29th and 59th floors, and the top floor of the building features a number of luxury three-bedroom St. Regis residences overlooking the bustling Jing'an district and the Shanghai skyline.
Each St. Regis bed is topped with 300-thread linens, a walk-in closet, and a spacious marble bathroom with a glass-enclosed rainforest shower, separate deep soaking tub, 17-inch mirror TV, picture windows, Remède bath amenities, and soft bathrobes and slippers to reflect the strength of the St. Regis Five-Star brand. St. Regis Residences also feature full kitchens, washers and dryers, and permanent guests receive special discounts at restaurants and spas and complimentary access to the St. Regis Sports Club.
In terms of business meeting facilities, the hotel has 14 event spaces with a total area of more than 3,000 square meters. The 1,400-square-metre open-plan Estor Ballroom, adjacent to the 368-square-metre foyer, is equipped with a 95-square-metre LED wall-mounted projection system and can accommodate up to 1,300 guests for large celebrations, business events, cocktail receptions and weddings. The hotel provides a planning and catering team as well as a "private event specialist" to ensure that the event runs smoothly. Parking is available underground for a fee, and the ground floor is only available for guests to park temporarily.
The new hotel features a Japanese-style Ishitei restaurant, a Cantonese banquet restaurant, an international "show" restaurant, and the St. Regis Bar, in addition to craft wines and champagnes, offers more than 50 craft cocktails, including a local take on The St. Regis New York's signature Bloody Mary. The Lounge is the perfect place to enjoy tea, freshly ground coffee and afternoon tea.
The spa, indoor heated sky pool, fitness center, sauna and other leisure activities center covers an area of about 2,000 square meters, providing treatments, saunas, yoga and fitness classes.
