Opened in 2010, The Ritz-Carlton, Pudong has 285 guest rooms and suites, all of which are more than 50 square meters in size, and the basic room type has a room rate of nearly 3,000 yuan per night. Due to poor maintenance, the overall facilities are slightly outdated, the lights are dim in some places, the hardware technology is average, and the expectations should not be too high. The hotel lobby area is very small, the service staff is few and the response is not timely, the check-in and check-out are very slow, and the front desk will be congested and stranded in case of holidays, and business travelers who are in a hurry need to pay special attention.
All rooms and suites are equipped with work desks, bright glass windows and LED TVs, Blu-ray DVD players, BOSE sound systems and electronic touchpads for easy control of lights, air conditioning, curtains, music, alarm clocks and more. The bathroom also features a TV screen, Asprey toiletries and a designer brass bathtub.
