世界名厨Paul Pairet于2009年4月在Shanghai外滩开设的的首家餐厅。相比起其“二弟”Ultraviolet by Paul Pairet横空出世的传奇经历, Mr&Mrs Bund一直处于稳扎稳打的“优等生”行列。曾获2014年度City Weekend杂志读者票选大奖之“最佳法国餐厅”、2015 年度“亚洲50最佳餐厅”、2016 “亚洲50最佳餐厅”、2018米其林指南推介餐厅等多项荣誉。
与Ultraviolet的先锋料理不同,Mr&Mrs Bund主打的是Comfort Food,一种以主厨Paul Pairet个人风格诠释的流行温馨菜式。这个现代法式食堂提供大众流行的法国招牌菜式,家庭式的服务风格与摩登的用餐环境相得益彰,超长的菜单提供逾一百五十道法国菜肴
,同时提供32种可按不同分量单杯点用的葡萄酒。Mr&Mrs Bund家庭分享式用餐的概念让氛围变得轻松,与中式用餐习惯不谋而合。在这里依然可以享受到Fine Dining餐厅里的经典法国菜式,且出品水准不俗,故也将其作为西式正餐店上榜。
Mr&Mrs Bund的零点菜单足有五页,数不胜数。眼花缭乱的食客可以选择套餐,目前共有七种套餐选择:简餐套餐(488元/人),含法式蜗牛配大蒜及意大利芹6只、现制洛林乳单饼、香煎多佛左口鱼配传统柠檬黄油汁、红酒烩牛颊肉,甜点有焦糖苹果塔、朗姆干提香草牛奶饭。除此之外还有家庭套餐(588元/人)、充满南法风味的里维埃拉套餐(638元/人)、主厨经典套餐(688/人)、简约套餐(888元/人)、奢华套餐(1388元/人)、顶级套餐(2088元/人),每套均供两人享用。除正餐外,周末还会有有Brunch和Late Night套餐供应。
The signature dish is the lemon tart, created by the chef and the star dessert of the restaurant. The hollowed out peel of the lemon is slow-cooked in sugar water and refrigerated, and after 72 hours of repeated processing, lemon curd, lemon smoothie, vanilla whipped cream, citrus petals, and finally served with a slice of lemon loaf. The tart itself is amazingly sour, and pairing it with sweet cookies to soften the sourness is still a challenge for the taste buds. Another dish of the chef's original truffle roasted bread is also a reserved dish at UV Restaurant, which is covered with a large piece of truffle and drizzled with lemon cream juice. The steamed black cod is processed in a high-quality way, the meat is tender and melts in the mouth, but the taste is salty for Chinese people, and the soup and white rice will be more palatable.
The restaurant's "Family Style" makes for a relaxed and lively atmosphere, and the waiters dressed in jeans and canvas shoes are full of vitality, humor and quality service, and there is no inhibition in dining, and there is also a 10% service charge. The restaurant's design is contemporary, with "casually" black leather furnishings that exude a sense of freedom. Of course, the riverside position of the terrace is not inferior, and you can see the scenery of the Bund at a glance. It is worth mentioning that Paul Pairet's third western restaurant, The Chop Chop Club, is also very good, because it specializes in Carvery barbecue, so it is not on the list as a Western-style restaurant.
