Founded in 1949, the Animal Hospital of China Agricultural University, affiliated to the Department of Clinical Medicine, School of Animal Medicine, China Agricultural University, is one of the oldest animal hospitals in China, and was rated as the first in the comprehensive strength ranking of pet hospitals in China in 2017. As the teaching and practice base for undergraduates and clinical masters of veterinary medicine in the College of Veterinary Medicine of China Agricultural University, and the location of the Chinese Association of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, the technical level and hardware facilities of the hospital have reached the top level in China, attracting pet owners from all over the country.

In order to alleviate the pain of the pet during the operation, the hospital has set up the first pet anesthesia and analgesia team in China to reduce the pain of the pet during the treatment as much as possible. For pets that need to be hospitalized, the hospital will formulate a complete nutrition plan according to the physical condition and condition of the pets and conduct round-the-clock care and observation; In cases that have been hospitalized and require lifelong treatment, the hospital will conduct long-term communication with the pet owner, provide corresponding medical and nursing guidance to the pet owner, and help the pet owner complete the daily care and treatment of the sick pet. Since 2014, the hospital has also begun to carry out veterinary training courses, which cover anesthesia risk control, hematology, first aid technology, inpatient animal care, imaging examination, laboratory examination and other projects, and has provided teaching services for thousands of veterinary practitioners. The hospital is open all year round and provides 24-hour service, and the management system of the hospital is very similar to that of the public hospital.
