DDC is an abbreviation for Dusk Dawn Club, also known as the Dusk Dawn Club. DDC has been one of the hottest cultural destinations in recent years, winning the Music Scene of the Year award from Beijinger in 2016 and the Music Scene of the Year award by TimeOut readers in 2017. The founder, Zhang Jincan, used to be one of the partners of the Jianghu bar in Dongmian Hutong, and people generally called him 69. After four years of working in Jianghu bars, 69 decided to open a cultural and artistic platform that can hold both performances and exhibitions. In July 2014, the Dusk Dawn Club was born. In 2016, DDC held as many as 310 performances and 783 bands, with a very high performance density. DDC's performances are based on world music, jazz and rock music, and musicians and bands come from all over the world. DDC is located in Shanlao Hutong near the National Art Museum of China, renovated from an old courtyard house, the two sides are used as a performance area and a dining area, directly opposite the door is a bar, the courtyard is equipped with a tree table and a large wooden table, the door frame is installed with a broadcast TV, if the performance area is full, you can watch the performance in the courtyard or standing or sitting on the ground, the top is covered with glass, it will not be too cold in winter, and it will not be drenched on rainy days. Upstairs there is a terrace with tables, chairs and umbrellas, so if you don't want to be crowded downstairs, you can choose to sit on the terrace. There are many kinds of beer in the club, such as domestic craft brews such as Master Gao, Jing A, Fengshou, Panda, Youhang, Niu Beer Hall, etc., have appeared on the DDC wine list, and there are also many excellent foreign craft beers such as Roosevelt, Brewing Dog, Firestone Walker, etc. In terms of bartending, the level of DDC is not high, but fortunately, the price of alcohol is not very high, generally around 5 or 60 yuan, and there is no forced consumption, customers can choose freely.
