Adjacent to the Hanshiqiao Wetland Park in Yangzhen, Shunyi District, there is a European pastoral style B&B with the theme of "cave dwelling" - Qimu Wushan, which is similar in style to Matamata in New Zealand (the filming base of the movies "The Hobbit" and "The Lord of the Rings"). Shady green artificial turf covers the roofs of wooden houses and caves, and the gravel paved road is flanked by patches of green grass and stone carvings of various shapes, separated by low wooden fences.
Childlike, mysterious, and fantastical, it is the first impression of the residents of the shakumu Wushan, and only by staying in it can they slowly feel the delicacy and warmth from the details. The founder Yang Gang calls himself a "craftsman", he was originally a musician, he later changed to interior design, good at carpentry and has his own perfectionist tendency, he chose to turn his understanding of design and wood into physical presentation, and designed such a childlike and romantic parent-child paradise.
There are a total of 14 huts, each with a different exterior and interior design: some have a circular skylight on the ceiling, and when night falls, you can see the night and the stars from your bed; Some of them piled up lush greenery on wooden ladders, and a lot of business was booming.
And the public rest area has made great efforts. In the shared living room, there is a pool with red and white koi fish in the center, and directly above the irregular pool is a skylight in the shape of the skylight, and the sunlight pouring down from the outside is vivid. Concrete walls, wooden floors, branches of native trees, floor decorations paved with various glass fragments, paintings hanging on the entire wall, and unknown old objects piled up everywhere, every step is worth stopping and appreciating.
More famous than the guest rooms is probably the restaurant that comes with Shakuki Musan. This intense style restaurant features copper bull heads hanging from the walls, vintage CD covers, long wooden dining tables and locomotives, but Chinese blue and white porcelain, drums and woodworking tools stacked on top of each other. There are not only dessert freezers that children can't take their eyes off, but also wine cabinets that are stacked on the whole wall. The restaurant focuses on innovative cuisine and has delicious barbecue options.
Shakugi Muzan can accommodate up to 30 guests at a time, and reservations must be made at least 1 month in advance in order to move in. Some residents reported that there may be problems such as poor ventilation, dampness and darkness in the room types of the Qimu Wushan Cave, which is not convenient for families with young children.
