Fenglin Su is located in Heishan Temple Village, Xiwengzhuang Town, Miyun District, in the east of Yunlongjian Natural Scenic Area, separated by a wall from the thousand-year-old temple Dayunfeng Temple. Tranquility, elegance and a strong sense of Zen are the most significant features that distinguish Fenglin B&B from other B&Bs, and you can enjoy tea and vegetarian food in the morning bell and dusk drums and swirling incense of Dayunfeng Temple, and empty your tired body and mind.
Zhang Qiuxia, the founder of Fenglin Su, was originally the owner of a yoga studio, and with a unique understanding of Zen, she hit it off with several classmates and built an old mansion outside Yunfeng Temple. On the basis of retaining the quaint style of the old house, Fenglin Su has been rebuilt and upgraded, pushing open the vermilion gate with a lion-faced copper buckle, what catches your eye is the blue brick wall with a circular hollow, rows of green bamboo covering the ancient wooden tables and chairs, and the dry water feature made of Japanese wooden doors and pebbles with the wind chimes that ring from time to time in the courtyard, making the small courtyard full of Zen and harmony.
There are a total of 6 courtyards in Fenglin Su, Yuanqi, Evening Mountain Mei, Chaoqi, Hanmoxiang, Xixuan, and Xinyu, and the styles of the 6 courtyards are unified and different. The square courtyard can be strolled, the meditation room covered with tatami mats can be used to enjoy tea, and in the back garden, the peach pears in full bloom and the craggy strange stones reflect each other. The curved wall of the guest room area is a reference to the Jiangnan garden design, and the bamboo and wood break the coldness of the bricks and pebbles, making the courtyard lively. The guest rooms choose simple and atmospheric new Chinese furniture, in the main colors of wood and white, occasionally there are one or two bouquets of gorgeous peach blossoms or pure pear blossoms, and the elegant fragrance of flowers accompanies the guests to have a good night's sleep.
Unlike the general vegetarian food, which imitates the preparation of meat dishes in terms of form and taste, the vegetarian food of the Wind Forest is only seasoned with seasonal fruits and vegetables, so that the ingredients can be kept as authentic as possible in shape, color and taste. Among them, the signature "Colorful Health Noodles" is naturally colored with seasonal fresh fruit and vegetable juices, and then combined with homemade five-flavor marinade to integrate the four seasons and five flavors into a bowl of noodles.
The average daily price of the small courtyard of Fenglin Suzhou is about 2,000 yuan, and there will be price differences between each courtyard according to the size, room and related facilities configuration, so it is recommended to call for details before booking.
