Urban Nomad is a B&B cultural space carefully renovated from a century-old villa of the Republic of China, located in Xinhepu, Dongshankou, and officially opened in August 2017. B&Bs are both living spaces and migratory in nature, and Urban Nomad's design team used this to convey the contradictory concept of "urban nomadism". Different from other B&Bs in Dongshankou that retain the ancient architectural temperament and ancient utensils of the Republic of China, Urban Nomad has completely transformed the entire old building, boldly abandoning the nostalgic style and using simple and clear lines to create an interior space. The interior color is black, white and gray, mostly with a pure white background and a small number of bright items to embellish. There are three rooms in the villa, and the smaller rooms are Japanese-style with tatami mat beds. The middle room is in the Nordic petty bourgeois style, lazy and relaxed. The large room is modern and modern, with a large space and an independent bathroom. There are no private bathrooms in the small and middle rooms, and the public toilets are located in the outdoor garden. The equipment and environment of the bathroom are quite good, but it is slightly inconvenient for the small room and the middle room. In addition, there is a communal living room with a private collection of books, vinyl records and record players, CDs and CD players for leisure and entertainment. With over 200 square metres of outdoor gardens, Urban Nomad has been carefully transformed into a minimalist and modern style that is enhanced by the lights at night. If you need to watch a movie, the owner will prepare a 2-meter projection screen and projector in the living room. The villas in Urban Nomad are available for rent as a whole or as a single room, with the price of a small room and a medium room being about 300 yuan/night, the price of a large room being about 400 yuan/night, and the overall rental being about 1,200 yuan/night.
