Officially opened in August 2017, Yishe is a B&B brand designed and built by Plus and Minus Think Tank Design Office, located near China Plaza on Zhongshan 3rd Road, which is a bustling section of Guangzhou's old town. The One House Living Museum is housed in a 5-storey old bungalow, and its location is quite private. The first and second floors of this building are the Internet celebrity restaurant "Secret Travel", and the third floor and above is the One House. The B&B rooms are located on the 3rd and 4th floors of the building, and there is also a public art space, which usually serves as a studio for the plus and minus think tank office, and the 5th floor is a rooftop garden. Thanks to the professionalism of the design studio, the space design of Yishe is quite conceptual, based on black, white and gray, and many interesting space and decorative details are all over it, such as staircases, revolving arches, and a large number of arched designs, and the soft decoration of the room is also very good. There are four rooms in the house, each with a different theme. Taking Room 302 as an example, the theme of the room is "Libido • Desire", and the interior color design is high-bright, with the large bed facing the arched windows on three sides, and the pure white walls and light-colored wooden mullions form a strong contrast with the mottled old walls outside the window. The books, decorations, and paintings in the room have been carefully selected and carefully placed to make it look comfortable, and the bathroom area is also quite designed, and the space planning of the whole room is quite outstanding. Room 303 is themed on "painting", with a huge photograph of the staircase space in the room, and the glass window on one side of the room takes the scene of the old city roof tiles outside the window into the room, becoming a natural painting. Inside, there are also ready-made easels and tool kits for guests to improvise. In addition to accommodation, the public space of One House will also hold various art exhibitions, exchange meetings and lectures from time to time, and there are also drinks inside, making it an open cultural space. The price of a room in Yishe is about 430 yuan per night on weekdays, and it is currently only available for booking on Airbnb.
