This product is slightly different from ordinary laminate flooring in that a cork underlayment is built into the base material. Cork is a flooring material made from the bark of cork oak and is known for its pleasant feel and excellent sound absorption properties, which is where EGGER claims to be comfortable. It's a pity that the price of the Comfort series is quite high at present, the official flagship store price is more than 700 yuan, which is not cheap in the pure cork floor, in addition to the use strength of the Comfort series is only Class31, and the wear resistance is slightly worse than that of mainstream products.
The EPD series uses a new type of substrate UWF core board, which focuses on durability and waterproofing, and the whole floor is only 5mm thick, but it reaches Class 33. However, the current price of more than 900 yuan in the flagship store is also prohibitive.
