Julius is derived from the Latin equivalent of the name of the brand's founder, Gyula, and k9 comes from the founder's childhood address, 9 Kele Road, where he owned his first dog. Juliu-K9 was originally a company that provided leashes, muzzles and other supplies to working dogs, and the harness products were designated by the Austrian Ministry of the Interior as a permanent equipment for use in two dog training centers. Julius-K9 is mainly sold as a harness, which is divided into a comfortable version and a lightweight version, and the price is in the middle and high price range among many harnesses. The comfort harness is the famous explosion-proof strap, and the saddle-shaped design has been copied by many brands. The back handle of Julius K9 is detachable and can be closed, while the back handle of many domestic brands of explosion-proof strap cannot be closed, easy to hook, and more dangerous. The chest strap is double-layered, with an outer layer of polyester material that is waterproof and scratch-resistant, and an inner layer of breathable skin-friendly fabric. The double-layer design makes the harness more durable, but because it wraps around the pet's body, it will be hotter to use in summer. There are a total of eight sizes, which can meet the needs of almost all dog sizes.
 
In summer, it is recommended to use a lightweight harness, and the padding part of the comfort harness is replaced by a rope strap to make it lighter and cooler. There is no Babys model for the lightweight harness, so it is only suitable for dogs with a chest circumference of 40cm or more.

There are two main types of tow ropes recommended for K9: jogging tow rope and vulcanized tow rope. The jogging tow rope has a cushion on the rope strap and a lumbar pad on the waist belt to avoid waist damage caused by pulling during exercise. The price is relatively high, ranging from 399-499 yuan depending on the size. It can be used with a quick-release buckle, but it is more suitable for working dogs or outdoor activities, and is not needed for daily jogging.
 
The vulcanized leash is made of nylon and vulcanized rubber. Vulcanized rubber is made of raw rubber by adding sulfur, carbon black, etc., and then heated by high pressure, which enhances wear resistance, swelling resistance, and heat resistance, making the tow rope more durable. Vulcanized traction is divided into ordinary version and multi-functional version, the price is 129-189 yuan, it is recommended to use it with imitation vulcanized collar or chest strap. The multi-functional version can be adjusted in length and used as a double-ended leash, which is more cost-effective.
