Founded in 1958, Hunan Yiyang Tea Factory is the country's largest manufacturer of Fu brick tea and the largest national frontier tea raw material reserve and storage enterprise, with an average annual production and sales volume of more than 12,000 tons, of which the production and sales of border tea account for 1/4 of the country's total, and the border tea raw material reserve accounts for 26.7% of the country, ranking first in the country. In 2008, the company's Fu brick tea production skills were included in the national second-class intangible cultural heritage protection list, and Yiyang Tea Factory became the only inheritor of the national intangible cultural heritage of Fu brick tea, and also participated in the drafting, formulation and revision of the national standard for Fu brick tea.
