The name of "Xie Yuda" can be traced back to the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty at the earliest, Xie Zheng'an, a native of Caoxi, ancient Huizhou, developed a new tea of "Baihao draped in body, bud tip like a peak", and because it was produced in Caoxi, Chongchuan and other places in Huangshan, it was named "Huangshan Maofeng". In 1875, Xie Zheng'an founded Xie Yuda Tea Store in Shanghai, which became famous by virtue of Huangshan Maofeng, becoming the first of the six major tea estates in Huizhou at that time, and having the reputation of "the first Huangshan Maofeng". In 1993, Xie Yiping, the fifth-generation descendant of Xie Yuda, founded Huangshan Caoxi Tea Factory, and in 2006, Huangshan Xie Yuda Tea Industry Co., Ltd. was restructured and established, which was recognized as "China Time-honored Brand" by the Ministry of Commerce, and set "Anhui Provincial Agricultural Industrialization Provincial Leading Enterprise", "Anhui Famous Trademark" and other honors, and became the first tea enterprise listed on the New Third Board in China in 2014.
Xie Yuda Tea Garden Base is located in Fuxi Township, Huizhou District, the core production area of Maofeng, Huangshan Mountain, with an area of 50,000 acres, and has been authorized to use the "Taiping Houkui Geographical Indication Protected Product Special Mark", and has been selected into the list of "Famous and Excellent New Agricultural Products" by the Ministry of Agriculture. Since 2007, Xie Yuda has successfully developed and built 7 domestic leading intelligent control and processing production lines for famous tea, realizing the numerical control automation of the whole production process, improving production efficiency and ensuring the quality of the tea industry. At present, Xie Yuda has obtained 2 national invention patents and 13 utility model patents, and has been awarded the "National High-tech Enterprise", and is also one of the formulators of the national standard of Huangshan Maofeng.
