Beiyan Tea Industry is located in the famous Zhengyan core village of Wuyishan - Tianxin Village, its predecessor was founded in 1996 Wuyishan Beiyan Rock Tea Refining Factory and Wuyishan Beiyan Rock Tea Research Institute, in 2016 was selected into the list of provincial key leading enterprises of Fujian agricultural industrialization, Wu Zongyan, the head of the enterprise, was awarded the first batch of Wuyishan municipal "intangible cultural heritage Wuyi rock tea (Da Hong Pao) production skills inheritor" title. At present, Beiyan Tea Industry has its own tea garden production base of more than 600 acres, which is listed as a "green food base" by China's tea system, and the farmer cooperation base is more than 25,000 acres, with an annual output of more than 200 tons of tea, and is one of the largest tea enterprises in Wuyishan.

Beiyan's high-end tea comes from the Zhengyan core area of Wuyi Mountain, such as Matouyan and the tea produced by "three pits and two streams", which are generally considered to be the highest quality raw materials, and due to the small output, the market price has been high, the Zhengyan tea produced by Beiyan is converted into almost 2,000 yuan per catty, however, Beiyan also provides a trial pack, 8g small bags of Matouyan cinnamon are priced at 33 yuan, and the same 8g Huiyuankeng narcissus is priced at 36 yuan.
