Metz is a brand of Miki in Japan, and enjoys a high reputation in Japan and around the world. The company's founder, Mr. Yuji Miki, began making and selling clubs in 1960. In 1971, Miki began to manufacture for other club brands, and the quality of the clubs was so good that American traders later signed an agreement with Miki that they would not sell clubs under its own brand to any part of the world, not even Japan.
 
It wasn't until 1994 that Miki's son, Kazunori Miki, led the company out of the predicament and sold its own brand clubs at the 1995 BCA World Pool Show in the United States, with "Mezz" as the club brand.
 
Metz holds a number of club patents, such as the Hybird technology front section, the Professional Extension extended grip, etc., and its Power Break punch, Air Shooter jump bar and other products are also very famous. The best feature of Metz clubs is that each model is available with several different technology fronts such as mixed two or mixed three. Hybrid II refers to Metz's hybrid second-generation front branch, which is a high-tech front branch filled with carbon fiber technology (non-combinable technology) for greater power and rotation, somewhat similar to the technology with carbon fiber tubes built into the end of the Jaguar front branch. Compared to the mixed two, the mixed three has less dexterity, but the transmission is better, and the feeling is closer to solid wood when hitting the ball. The front branch of the mixed two, the wooden tooth interface and other processes make the billiard cue of the EXC series more stable and comprehensive in terms of hitting performance.
 
In addition to the EXC series, the EC7 and ACE series are also excellent. Among them, the EC7 series is positioned at the level of ordinary enthusiasts, with a price between 2,000 and 7,000 yuan, and the front branch is North American hard maple, with the rear branch of wenge, purple core wood, sandalwood or mahogany. The leather head is a yellow Cam M, a nine-club with a 1/2 structure, and the interface is an iron tooth type of Metz. The whole collection is based on thread handles, and the material is made of Irish linen thread, but there are also very few styles with light or leather handles. It should be noted that the Irish linen grip should not be wiped with water, otherwise it will cause fluffing problems.
 
Compared with the EC7 series, the ACE series has a more diverse range of front branches, especially the addition of mixed three front branches, so it is slightly more expensive than the EC7 series. It also uses an Irish linen thread grip, but the interface is not an iron tooth but a wooden tooth, so the playing feeling will be softer and more elastic than the iron tooth interface, which is more suitable for plugging.
