虽说是France品牌，Paul&Joe彩妆系列却最先在日本推出，它有着其它欧美品牌少有的日式细腻。PJ的产品包装多以菊花图案为设计蓝本，不仅美观精致，还带有一丝浓郁的东方特征。Base makeup向来都是PJ的强项，其中以搪瓷隔离系列最具代表性。
 
搪瓷隔离系列包括Moisturizing Foundation Primer S、Protecting Foundation Primer S、Illuminating Foundation Primer等多种产品，该系列产品稳居专柜销售排行前列，并在各大美妆大赏上屡获佳绩。除了以上三种常规款，Paul&Joe不定时也会推出限定款隔离，如在2017、2018年春季的幻彩珍珠四色隔离，以及2017年圣诞的金色隔离Primer。

In 2015, the moisturizing color and makeup pre-makeup isolation was updated and upgraded, and the new version not only retains the moisturizing texture and better finish, but also increases the proportion of orange blossom water with moisturizing and brightening effects, which can be used on combination and dry skin.
 
There are three shades of moisturizing and toning pre-makeup isolation, which can meet the needs of users of different skin tones, whether it is white skin, reddened skin or yellowish skin, the skin tone can be well adjusted and corrected. 01 Dagree has the highest sales volume, the product has a natural face, has a brightening effect, and is suitable for fair skin and medium skin tone users. 02 Miel has a good coverage effect, which is suitable for users who are looking for a natural skin tone and need to conceal imperfections. 03 Creme has a stronger moisturizing effect, no concealer, and can be used with liquid foundation as a pre-makeup moisturizer. It is worth mentioning that, with the exception of color 03, the other two contain SPF15.
 
The Protecting Foundation Primer S is a white cover that targets oily skin and is suitable for spring and summer. Compared to the moisturizing and toning pre-makeup isolation, the sunscreen pre-makeup isolation strengthens the sun protection effect, with a high sun protection value of SPF42/PA, except for the 03 transparent color, the rest of the shades are the same as the moisturizing and toning pre-makeup isolation. The sunscreen pre-makeup barrier has a refreshing texture and no pearlescent, and the finish is not as good as the moisturizing color isolation before makeup, but it has strong coverage and can modify pores.
 
The Illuminating Foundation Primer, also known as the Luminous Brightening Pre-Primer, is the most luminous of the three barriers. Lavender Purple Pearl Particles are added to the Luminous Brightening Pre-Primer for a visibly pearlescent finish that can modify dull skin, making it suitable for those with a yellowish complexion or who want to create a high-shine finish. There is only one shade in the primer for luminous skin conditioning, with SPF20/PA sun protection factor.
