How about Panasonic electric irons Brand introduction

After Panasonic established a joint venture with Wanbao in Guangzhou, Panasonic successively closed the electric iron factories in Japan and the Philippines, and now the Guangzhou company has become the world's largest production base of Panasonic electric irons, and the Panasonic electric irons sold in China are produced here. According to the latest monitoring data of Zhongyikang, Panasonic electric irons performed well in the domestic market. In the evaluation of Consumer Reports in the United States, the Panasonic NI-W950A scored 93 points overall, ranking second, only slightly inferior to the Goodluck DW9280 in terms of ease of use. In the 2012 evaluation of the Hong Kong Consumer Council, the Panasonic NI-W650CS ranked first with an overall score of four and a half stars (out of five stars).

The high-end trend of electric irons sold in domestic offline channels is obvious, and the proportion of products above 1,000 yuan is increasing year by year, but on e-commerce platforms, well-known brands including Panasonic are focusing on cost-effective products. Panasonic electric irons are rich in main models, except for the highest NI-WL50, the price of other models does not exceed 500 yuan.

The standard double fuse is the biggest selling point of Panasonic electric irons, once the product temperature is too high, the fuse will automatically ignite to ensure the safety of consumers. This is in contrast to the automatic power-off feature of Philips irons, which are designed to trigger a power-off after 8 minutes of sitting straight or 30 seconds flat, depending on how the product is placed. Most products on the market adopt this design, and Panasonic's overheating power-off function is not flexible in comparison.

However, in terms of detail design, the advantages of Panasonic electric irons are more obvious. The spherical bottom plate is double-pointed at the front and back, and the pressure is concentrated in the center, which can be moved smoothly and easily slides under the buttons, making ironing more thoughtful. The anti-scaling device in the tank reduces the hardness of the water and reduces the build-up of limescale, even when using tap water, without degrading the steam performance.

Although Panasonic's cost-effective products have no possibility of winning in the face of Philips, in the price range of about 300 yuan, Panasonic electric irons are still quite competitive. The NI-E500CS, priced at about 280 yuan, is equipped with a vertical ironing function that can iron hanging clothes. However, the more expensive GC2676 from Philips still has to be ironed with the help of an ironing board, which is a little cumbersome to operate.

In addition, Panasonic has also launched a cordless electric iron, which is heated by a special heating base for each ironing, making full use of the gap in the ironing process, and the operation is more convenient, but the ironing efficiency is lower. Among Panasonic's three cordless irons, the NI-WL30 is the most affordable, with a rated power only 300W lower than the highest NI-WL50, and the temperature adjustment range is not much different.

Unfortunately, Panasonic electric irons are slow to be replaced, most models were launched around 2011, and the flagship product did not add the latest booster steam function, which is obviously not timely enough to respond to market trend changes.
