Meichao Yiguapin 400 is divided into YGP400JJ putty, YGP400KF anti-pulverization putty and YGP400KL anti-crack putty, with different emphasis on performance. In fact, the entire 400 series is an upgraded version of the original 821 putty, the main ingredient is calcium carbonate (double fly powder), because Beijing prohibits the use of non-water-resistant putty, so it is renamed Meichao 400, but no matter how it is upgraded, Meichao 400 is still an ordinary non-water-resistant putty. Compared with the traditional 821 putty, the Meichao 400 is indeed not very bad, the performance has been improved, the traditional 821 putty formula contains cellulose, which is an organic matter, once it encounters water, it is easy to mold, and 400 is mainly optimized in water retention agents and other additives, reducing the probability of hair growth and pulverization. It should be said that the 400 series is actually more suitable for the drier northern areas, in which the water retention agent used in 400KF is water abominant, and the water resistance should be slightly higher than the other two, but it does not meet the standard of water resistant putty, and this kind of product will definitely be phased out in the future, in principle, it is not recommended to buy this series.
 
Therefore, it is more recommended to Meichao easy to scrape flat 800 series putty powder, this series is subdivided into 800JJ and 800GQ two products, 800JJ is an economical water-resistant putty, not so difficult to polish, and the cost performance has also been improved, but the performance has decreased slightly, 800GQ is a high-strength water-resistant putty, the water resistance is higher, the standard bonding strength is 0.86MPa, and the immersion strength is 0.76MPa, which is much higher than the industry standard requirements. Although the 800 series does not indicate whether it is cement-based on the official website, and the main components marked are the same as the 400 series of calcium carbonate, calcium oxide and additives, but judging from the description, it should also be cement-based, with a pH value of 12-13, which is strongly alkaline, and it is difficult for non-cement-based products to achieve.
 
For 800 series putty, it is necessary to master the time when scraping and polishing, in addition, do not spray water, otherwise the wall will become too hard and not easy to polish, if you need to brush latex paint, you must not forget to brush the anti-alkali primer, in view of the strong alkalinity of the Meichao 800 series, it is best to brush two layers of anti-alkali primer.
