Founded in Taiwan, SeeLink is a dashcam brand founded by a group of security surveillance and video equipment professionals. Although the products are not high-end, the video quality and product quality are very stable, and they are very well-known in Taiwan.
 
The dash cams of SeeLink all use Ambarella A7 or above main control chips, with stable performance. In terms of image sensor selection, Shilianke has two solutions, two million pixels and four million high-sensitivity CMOS, with a 6G million all-glass lens, which can support 1080P, 1296P and 1440P resolutions. Unfortunately, the manufacturer and specific model of the image sensor have not been officially announced.
 
SeeLink is very professional in image adjustment and optimization, which has a lot to do with the background of its founder, when the vehicle passes through the road conditions with obvious light differences, it is often impossible to shoot the two parts at the same time due to the existence of large light ratios, and the full line of products of SeeLink uses Ultra HDR high dynamic image adjustment and 3D noise reduction technology, regardless of the highlights and dark positions, it can obtain a better level than ordinary photos, and the image quality is very good. It is worth mentioning that the latest model of Shilianke has also introduced safety assistance functions such as lane departure warning and front collision warning, and the driving protection is more comprehensive.
 
For the 1296P resolution, because its total pixels are more than the 1080P resolution, the shooting is clearer, but the individual pixel particles are smaller, and the average brightness to each pixel is reduced, so the night vision effect is worse. For the anti-collision porcelain recorder, the definition of 1080p is sufficient, too high will greatly reduce the service life of the memory card, and at the same time shorten the recording time of each card, the use of 1296P resolution products often outweigh the losses.
 
The product line of Seelink dash cam can be divided into three series: MARCUS, OS and OPIA, and the price is generally between 300-700 yuan, which is cost-effective. The MARCUS and OPIA are characterized by a high-sensitivity CMOS of 4 million each, with an aperture size of F2.0, which can be used for both day and night. UNLIKE MARCUS, WHICH USES THE AMBARELLA A7 SOLUTION, OPIA ADOPTS AMBARELLA'S LATEST A12 SOLUTION, WHICH IMPROVES THE STABILITY OF THE PRODUCT WHILE INCREASING THE RESOLUTION TO 1440P, MAKING THE IMAGE QUALITY CLEARER. The aperture size of the OS series is F1.8, and the night vision effect is even better.
 
Due to the large number of tachograph brands in Taiwan, the market competition is very fierce, and Shilianke has been facing huge survival pressure. At the end of 2018, SeeLink decided to suspend business and withdraw from the Taiwan market, and will focus on OEM and export sales in the front car market in the future. At present, the Seelianke dash cam sold in mainland China is the inventory product accumulated by merchants, and there are only two models: OS1 and OS2. Therefore, users who buy Seelink dash cams need to be prepared for the fact that after-sales service is likely to be unguaranteed.
