The difference between different models of Diordi products is mainly reflected in the image sensor, and its image sensor solutions are four types: Sony, Micron, Panasonic and APTINA. In Yole's 2016-2017 CIS market share report, Sony accounted for 42% of the global share, while Amson and Panasonic accounted for 5% and 3% respectively. APTINA was originally part of Micron Technology, Inc., which was acquired by ON Semiconductor in 2014.
 
The performance of products using image sensor solutions from different manufacturers varies greatly. If users pursue night vision effect, it is recommended to buy flagship series products, which not only commonly use Sony STARVIS high sensitivity chips, such as LS400S, LS400W, LS400W Plus all have F1.6 large aperture, which not only has a larger amount of light than the mainstream F1.8 aperture on the market, but also has a better depth of field effect. The price of these three products is more than 600 yuan, and the cost performance is good.
 
In many models, Diordi did not announce the main control chip scheme, and some models also claimed to use Diordi's independent research and development of the main control chip, which made many consumers feel troubled. In fact, DOD does not have the strength of chip research and development at all, in order to reduce costs, DOD in the selection of the main control chip solution, the whole line of products use the old solution of Novatek chips, such as LS400W using Novatek NT96650 main control chip, this chip was a blockbuster when it was first launched in 2013, and the image quality and clarity after the excellent image sensor are even better than the Ambarcelium solution. Although the practice of using the old chips of top chip manufacturers can obtain good video effects, due to the lack of integrated functions on the old scheme, DOD dash cams generally do not have wifi function.
 
It is worth mentioning that in the event of an accident collision, the moonlight treasure box technology of Diordi's products will lock the file to protect the image of 15 seconds before and 30 seconds after the accident, and the recording time of up to 45 seconds is very rare in the entire industry.
