The Phantom Gen 2, which is still on sale, features a twin-tower design with 7 heat pipes and a reflow soldering base made of abundant materials. Two 120mm PWM fans are standard, and a second fan can be added for triple cooling if needed. Its color is divided into white and black versions, the black version is not just a change of color, heat pipes, heat dissipation fins have undergone a blackened nickel plating process, but the hardware configuration is exactly the same, the thermal conductivity efficiency is faster, compared with the white version, the CPU temperature can drop by 2 degrees when working, the price is 299 yuan, which is cheaper than the white version.
 
The craftsmanship seems to be perfect, but in fact, the Phantom 2 performance is mediocre. According to consumer tests, the radiator is about 5 degrees higher than that of the Kyushu Fengshen Great Frost Tower in the same environment. In particular, the 7 heat pipes dissipate heat, which is basically useless, and the 5 heat pipes are in direct contact with the copper bottom, and the 2 heat pipes assist in heat dissipation, which is particularly bloated.
 
All in all, the price of GELID radiators is in the mid-range ranks, but it is not as good as the slightly lower price of the big frost tower, and consumers are advised to choose carefully.
