Fengfan Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Fengfan) is a subsidiary of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation. The predecessor of the company, Baoding Battery Factory, was founded in 1958, is one of the 156 key construction projects during the "First Five-Year Plan" period, in June 2000 by the China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation as the main sponsor of the establishment of a joint-stock company, "Fengfan shares" A shares (600482) in July 2004 listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, now a total share capital of 531 million shares.
Fengfan is a perennial partner of FAW-Volkswagen, Shanghai Volkswagen, Shanghai General Motors, Beijing Hyundai, Dongfeng Motor, Changan Automobile, and is the exclusive supplier of Audi A6, Passat Lingyu, Buick Rongyu and other high-end models, the domestic automobile starting battery market share has reached about 20% and exported to more than 30 countries and regions, since 1987, the main business technical indicators have been in the forefront of the industry, is currently the domestic strength, large scale, high market share of the automotive starting battery production enterprises. Fengfan has a postdoctoral workstation, a national power lithium battery laboratory and the only national technology center in the industry recognized by the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Science and Technology, and has successively passed the national military standard 9001A-2001 and ISO/TS16949:2002 quality management system certification, ISO14001 and ISO18001 environmental and occupational health and safety management system certification. The Acid Battery Branch of the China Chemical and Physical Power Industry Association and the Lead-Acid Battery Branch of the China Battery Industry Association are both located in Fengfan.
In recent years, Fengfan has actively followed the national industrial policy guidance, adhered to the road of sustainable development, and on the basis of continuing to maintain the leading position in the lead-acid battery industry for automobile starting, it has increased the adjustment of product structure, with an annual output of 1 million kvAh industrial batteries and 30 million lithium battery cells.
