Schaeffler Group FAG bearings
Since 1883, Mr. Fischer of Germany invented the ball mill for grinding steel balls and founded FAG company, with the birth and development of the rolling bearing industry, FAG bearing products have been fully certified in almost all possible fields and have been playing a very important role.
The following is only a list of the main application areas of some of its products: aeronautical engineering, metal cutting machine tools, iron and steel processing equipment, converters, foundry equipment, rolling mills, mechanical transmission equipment, paper machinery, cement machinery, mills, mining machinery, construction machinery and vibration machinery, environmental protection equipment, wind power generation equipment, ships, antennas and radar, textile machinery, packaging machinery, etc.
FAG has been part of the Schaeffler Group since 2001 and plays an active and important role in the Group's aerospace, automotive and industrial sectors. Combined with INA products, FAG has the most complete product outline in the rolling bearing industry. It covers production machinery, power transmission and railways. All areas of application in heavy industry and the consumer goods industry.
Schaeffler Group LUK
Founded in 1965 in Buehl, Germany, LuK is a brand of the Schaeffler Group as a specialist clutch manufacturer. Initially, the company's goal was to produce diaphragm spring clutches for subsequent models of Volkswagen's Beetle. Today, one out of every four cars in the world uses a LuK clutch.
As a technology leader in the field of powertrains, LuK has many groundbreaking innovations worth counting. Among other things, the use of a dual-mass flywheel (DMF) sets a new standard for the reduction of vibration and noise in the drivetrain. Unlike the rigid flywheel, which was installed between the engine and transmission in the conventional system, the flywheel of the new system was split in two. The first mass on the engine side and the second mass on the transmission side are separated and connected to each other by a spring damping system, so that the arc spring is the core component of the dual-mass flywheel. Thanks to the integrated damping system, the dual-mass flywheel can absorb almost all the torsional vibrations caused by the rotational inertia of the engine, prevent the transmission components from colliding with each other, and have an excellent vibration damping effect and greatly improve driving comfort.
