Founded in Germany in 1926, Bosch Group is a subsidiary of Bosch Group, specializing in the production, logistics, sales and remanufacturing of auto parts and repair station equipment

As part of Bosch's Automotive Technology business, Bosch Automotive Aftermarket employs 17,000 people worldwide and is responsible for the production, logistics, and sales of automotive parts and workshop equipment, as well as the remanufacturing of spare parts. Its business also includes technical services for customers with automotive components and systems.

Logistics network

One of the many tasks of the Bosch logistics network is to provide customers with a complete range of automotive parts, including OEMs, dealers and workshops. These parts are shipped by ship from Karlsruhe, Germany, to 150 different countries. At the same time, Bosch Automotive Aftermarket has 24 logistics centers around the world. Since 1978, around 650,000 automotive aftermarket parts – from anti-lock braking systems to spark plugs – have been delivered to customers through new technologies.

Bosch Automotive Repair Network

Bosch Automotive Aftermarket is also responsible for the development and management of the Bosch Automotive Specialist Network. The Bosch Automotive Service Network is one of the world's largest independent service networks with more than 16,500 workshops worldwide.

Automotive diagnostics business

Bosch Automotive Diagnostics offers test tools, workshop equipment, diagnostic software, and training courses for workshops. Bosch offers training courses to more than 60,000 people every year at 43 training centers around the world. The business unit also provides retailers and workshops worldwide with comprehensive diagnostics and workshop technology, as well as a full range of spare parts support – from new to remanufactured parts.

The history of Bosch Automotive Aftermarket Service in China dates back to 1926, when the first Bosch Automotive Service Station was established in Shanghai. In 1998, Bosch Automotive Aftermarket established a trading company in Shanghai, which is currently responsible for the overall business development of Bosch Automotive Aftermarket in China. By the end of 2012, Bosch Automotive Aftermarket had more than 5,500 employees in Shanghai, Nanjing, Shenzhen, Beijing, Suzhou and Taipei. They provide tailor-made auto parts, workshop equipment and professional car services to their trading partners and car users in China. In addition, Bosch Automotive Aftermarket has more than 1,800 Bosch workshops, Bosch Diesel Service Centers and Bosch Diesel Service Stations in China.
