Dongguan Hsu Kee Food Co., Ltd., Hsu Fu Chi, founded in 1976 in Taiwan, is a leading brand of Chinese candy, focusing on the production and operation of candy/pastry/shaqima/chocolate/jelly pudding and other confectionery snack food enterprises, and became a brand of Nestle in 2011

Founded in 1992 in Chinese mainland by four Hsu brothers from Taiwan, Hsu Fu Chi focuses on the production and operation of confectionery, pastries, sakima, chocolate and jelly pudding and other confectionery snack foods. In 1997, Singapore Huiya Group joined the ranks of the company, bringing new thinking and concepts to the group, jointly established the BVI International Group, and registered Dongguan Fu Chi Food Co., Ltd., specializing in the sustainable development of the Fu Chi brand in the field of confectionery in China. In 2000, Fu Chi officially set foot in the operation and management of modern channels, laying a solid foundation for the Group's great expansion in the Chinese retail market. In 2009, with 100 sales branches and more than 16,000 directly controlled terminal retail outlets in China, Fortune Chi became one of the largest confectionery brands and confectionery companies in China.

Hsu Fu Chi was founded in China in 1992, and the "Hsu Fu Chi" brand was registered in 1994, comprehensively carrying out the sustainable development of China's confectionery field. The company's main production base is located in Dongguan, Guangdong, mainly producing: candy, pastry, shaqima, chocolate and jelly and other confectionery snack food, more than 1,000 styles of bulk and packaging, with a daily production capacity of more than 1,500 tons, with more than 2,900 40-foot containers of automated warehousing and logistics allocation capacity, with strong efficiency to fully supply the market.

On December 7, 2011, Chinese confectionery boss Hsu Fu Chi (SGX:HSFU) announced on the SGX that the Ministry of Commerce had approved Nestlé's $1.7 billion acquisition of a 60% stake in Nestlé on December 6. Nestlé AG has proposed to acquire a 43.5% stake in Hsu Fu Chi held by independent shareholders of Hsu Fu Chi through a scheme of arrangement, in addition to a further 16.5% stake from the Hsu family's current 56.5% stake. Under the terms of the acquisition agreement, the Hsu family will indirectly hold the remaining 40% stake in Hsu Fu Chi.
