Founded in Japan in 1909, Crystal Clear Skin Care Essence is known as the "fairy water", the first exclusive skin repair compound, focusing on the research of Asian women's skin care enterprises
Born in Japan, SK-II is the perfect culmination of Japanese skin experts' application of cutting-edge technology to skincare product development, and is currently a popular skincare brand in Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, South Korea and China. In 2003, SK-II brought the burgundy whirlwind to Europe, where it was sold well in the UK and other places.
SK-II founder MR.MAX FACTOR, born in Poland, worked as a wig and makeup artist in his early days, working as a makeup artist in the Russian Royal Dance Company before immigrating to the United States in the early 19th century.
In mid-1909, Mr. SK-II opened his first theatrical supply store in the Los Angeles Theater District, specializing in professional wigs and cosmetics for the stage. At first, he sold German theater cosmetics, but because he was often asked by film actors for makeup advice, he felt that the fledgling film industry at that time required a new kind of makeup skills. At that time, the actors were using oil paint to make up, and the makeup on their faces looked like a thick layer of heavy makeup on camera, and the glossy glow made it look stiff and unnatural, so Mr. SK-II invented a new formula of cream makeup called Flexible Greasepaint, which was the first cosmetics made specifically for film shooting. Since he allows the actor to apply makeup quickly, the effect is better and more natural, so it gets an excellent response from the user in a very short time.
Ukiyo-eki
Subsequently, SK-II made another pioneering initiative and released the "Society Makeup Series", which allowed cosmetics to step out of professional makeup rooms and become consumer goods that can be shared by women from all walks of life who care about "beauty".
The range includes foundation, powder, blush, eye shadow, eyeliner, eyebrow pencil, mascara and contour. The products with masking function are designed according to the "harmonious color" concept of SK-II. Under the harmony of complementary colors, the harmonious color sense of women of every hair color or skin tone is highlighted, so that all female friends can have the radiant attraction of stars. To this day, the concept of "harmonious color" remains the same belief in SK-II's development of color cosmetics products.
Society Makeup pushes the boundaries of beauty and is the perfect footnote for the first step towards the popularization of cosmetics. In the past, because the meaning of the word "make-up" was closely related to the entertainment industry, and at that time, people's impression of the entertainment industry was generally not good, so people often avoided using this word in front of their faces, so as not to damage their image. Mr. SK-II was the first to name a product with words such as "Make -Up". At the same time, because the Society Makeup series of products occupy a representative position in people's hearts, it has led to the "Make-Up", so that women can be proud of being able to simulate the style of celebrities and have beauty and dazzling.
Field expansion
From make-up to skincare: Recognizing the importance of healthy skin to beauty, SK-II has also launched a skincare line that includes cleansing, moisturizing, and preventing premature skin aging. These products are suitable for all skin types and are loved by movie stars and consumers alike.
After the establishment of the export department in 1930, SK-II expanded into an international cosmetics and skin care company and brand. The Second World War in the 1930s and 1940s suspended operations in Asia for a period of time, before resuming operations in Japan and the Philippines in 1949 and in Hong Kong and Singapore in the 1950s. SK-II cosmetics were started in Taiwan in 1965.
