Founded in 1928 in Scotland, a professional outdoor luggage manufacturer, in 2008 Xiangxing Group bought the global management rights of the Highland brand, tailor-made for consumers to travel different luggage travel solutions

In the twenties of the last century, James Blair (a pioneer of outdoor adventure in Scotland and the founder of Highland bags) led his expedition team on a long-term outdoor adventure in the Scottish Highlands. At that time, professional outdoor adventures were still in their infancy, and equipment was still relatively rudimentary, and outdoor adventure activities were often limited. Ernst Sèvres and his expedition team took it upon themselves to make professional bags for outdoor adventures, and in 1928 they officially founded a new brand of professional outdoor bags, which they named Highland in honor of their passion for the Scottish Highlands. As Scottish Highland adventures continued to become known to the world, Highland became synonymous and standard equipment for Scottish exploration. 

In 1989, the famous British outdoor sports brand Gelert acquired the Highland brand from James White, the son of James Blair, and began to give the Highland brand a new life, and Highland's products began to gradually spread from the British region to the world. 

In 2001, Gelert sponsored the Scottish Outdoor Challenge, featuring top outdoor athletes from around the world, including Australia's J· Lan。 In this competition, Lan accidentally stumbled while climbing over a cliff, and during the fall, the Highland bag buckle on his body hung a tree branch, and with excellent quality, the Highland backpack hung Lan until the rescue arrived. This adventure triggered Lan's thinking about "how to embed the professional function and quality of the outdoors into everyday bags". In 2002, Lan partnered with Gelert to innovatively propose the concept of integrating professional functionality into everyday luggage, and the Highland brand re-strategized. At the end of 2002, the new Highland brand and logo were officially launched, opening a new era in the luggage industry. 

In 2003, Xiangxing Group officially cooperated with Gelert to produce all bags of Highland brand, and at the same time, in 2004, it began to work together to lay out the Chinese market, creating a good prospect of cooperation. In 2008, Xiangxing Group spent a huge amount of money to buy the global management rights of the Highland brand, and enriched the product line to a greater extent, upgraded the brand image, so that the Highland brand has gained more recognition with a new look, focusing on the attention of the global luggage industry. The HIGHLAND brand adopts the logo combination of "Mountain Eagle", which symbolizes the spirit of continuous transcendence and freedom contained in the brand. 

Adhering to this new design concept, HIGHLAND combines its mature outdoor equipment development technology to continuously design multi-functional leisure bags suitable for urban people, achieving the perfect combination of innovation and fashion. Innovation also comes from the details, HIGHLAND bags are all made of the world's top 500 NIFICO buckles, and each bag is different in the choice of material and function due to the difference in the use of people and places, tailor-made for consumers with different luggage travel solutions, to achieve the brand promise of "tolerance and calm".
