Founded in 1919 in the United States, 3M China Co., Ltd. is a professional medical protective gear brand under 3M, committed to developing more professional products that are comfortable and fit/have both protection and support

 

The story of the origins of FUTURO™ ™ professional protective gear begins with a young man who lived in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA, in 1917 and wanted to return to the football field.

The young man's name was George. Jack. George "Jack" Jung, Jr. After the injury, in order to return to the field, he wrapped his injured foot with duct tape so that he could continue playing football. At the same time, more protective gear was developed to provide protection, support, and comfort, and the creative history of FUTURO™ ™ began

1919 - The Jung Foot Protector was first launched in the market

1930 - Ankle braces are introduced. In the next ten years, elbow braces, knee braces, and wrist braces were launched on the market, and the company was officially named FUTURO™

1949 - FUTURO™ enters the medical elastic socks market with the introduction of elastic socks

1955 - FUTURO™ became a pioneer in the industry at that time with the opening of a merchandising counter in the pharmacy channel, with a wide range of products and creative merchandising displays

2008 - 3M, a U.S. company known for its creativity and innovation, acquires FUTURO™

At present, FUTURO's™ ™ main production line and R&D center are still in Cincinnati, USA; The full product line of professional support protective gear is sold in 42 countries around the world, and has 70 patents in the United States.
