Origin of the Nokia name

The Nokia corporate font is the AgfaMonotype Nokia Sans font, originally designed by Eric Spiekermann. Previously, in advertisements and mobile phone user manuals, Nokia most commonly used the Agfa Rotis Sans font.

Nokia's iconic ringtone, "Nokia tune", is actually an adaptation of the 19th-century guitar piece "GranVals" by Spanish musician Francisco Tárrega.
