The Viessmann Group is one of the world's leading manufacturers of heating, refrigeration and air conditioning systems. Founded in 1917, the family-owned company employs 12,000 people and generates annual sales of 225 million euros.
The Viessmann Group is also an international company with 22 production sites in 11 countries, sales companies and 120 sales subsidiaries in 74 countries. Overseas sales accounted for 54%.
The Viessmann Group entered the Chinese market in 1997. In 2001, Beijing Viessmann Heating Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the Viessmann Group in China, was officially established in Beijing. In 2009, Viessmann established a production plant in Dachang, Hebei.
Today, Viessmann has around 260 employees and six representative offices in China. With the rapid development of the retail network in recent years, Viessmann has partners in all provinces of the country.
Viessmann's comprehensive product portfolio offers efficient system-specific solutions in the power range from 1.5 kW to 120 MW for all energy carriers and all applications. These include condensing wall-hung boilers ranging from 1.9 to 150 kW and condensing floor furnaces from 1.9 to 6000 kW, as well as cogeneration plants from 1.0 to 530 kWel (power generation) and 5.3 to 660 kWth (heating). The cogeneration plant uses natural gas or biogas, and the supply of environmentally friendly bio-natural gas is also included as part of the supply contract.
Renewable energy systems, including flat plate and vacuum tube solar collectors, which can be used to heat domestic hot water, heating assistance and cooling; Special heating boilers and combustion plants using wood (bulk wood strips, wood blocks and wood biopellets) with power ranges from 4 kW to 50 MW; Viessmann also offers heat pumps for ground heat, underground water and air sources in the power range from 1.7 to 2000 kW, as well as photovoltaic systems.
Viessmann supplied the district heating network and the bioenergy village from a single source – from the initial feasibility study and detailed design with all the necessary components, such as the biogas fermentation plant, cogeneration, circulation lines for the heating system and the sub-household heating solution, through to construction and commissioning.
In the field of refrigeration, the Viessmann Group offers a full range of products such as temperature-controlled rooms, high-efficiency freezers and freezer units, food refrigeration solutions as well as accessories and after-sales services.
