Honeywell in China
Honeywell in ChinaHoneywell's history in China dates back to 1935. At that time, Honeywell opened its first dealership in Shanghai. When U.S. President Richard Nixon visited China in 1972, he was invited by the Chinese government to recommend elite enterprises from ten major fields to China to promote two-way exchanges between the two countries and promote China's modernization. Among them, the only U.S. Global Oil Company in the refining and petrochemical field that was selected to recommend to the Chinese government is a subsidiary of Honeywell. The reform and opening up in the 80s became a new starting point for Honeywell to integrate into China's economic development, and as one of the first multinational companies to set up a representative office in Beijing, Honeywell began a series of high-quality investments at that time. At present, all four major business groups of Honeywell have settled in China, and the Asia-Pacific headquarters of all its business units have also been relocated to China, and a number of branches and joint ventures have been established in more than 20 cities in China. Honeywell currently invests more than $1 billion in China and employs more than 12,000 people.

Aerospace Group
Honeywell Aerospace products and services can be found on nearly every commercial, defense and space shuttle in the world. Honeywell's turbochargers are also used by nearly all car and truck manufacturers worldwide. Aerospace Group's business units develop innovative solutions, as well as technologies and products such as aircraft engines, cockpit and cabin electronics, in-flight wireless connectivity, and logistics, to reduce vehicle and aircraft fuel consumption, improve flight punctuality, and improve flight and runway safety. In China, Honeywell's aerospace business, comprised of four industry-leading joint ventures and one wholly-owned enterprise, provides maintenance services for auxiliary power units, aviation spare parts, avionics and wheel and brake products, as well as engine and environmental control system related components for the domestic and international aviation markets. The turbochargers used by Honeywell Transportation Systems, part of the group, are used by car and truck manufacturers in China and around the world.

In China, its series of innovative technologies and connected solutions are widely used in industry, energy, construction, transportation, healthcare, retail and other fields, helping workers improve energy efficiency, safety and productivity, while reducing resource consumption and environmental pollution.
Performance Materials & Technologies Group
Honeywell Performance Materials & Technologies is a leading global supplier of performance materials, process technologies and automation solutions. The Group's Performance Materials business specializes in the production of a wide range of high-performance products, including environmentally friendly refrigerants for air conditioning and refrigeration, energy-saving insulating blowing agents, special films for food and pharmaceutical packaging, multi-purpose advanced fibers, solvents and inorganics for analytical and chemical laboratory research, electronic materials for the semiconductor and display industries, and research chemicals.
