Umbrian was founded in 1979 and is headquartered in Toronto, Canada. At the time, designer Paul Rowan couldn't find the right curtains to decorate his apartment. So, he designed and made one himself, and he didn't expect it to be praised by his friends. So, he found his childhood friend Les Mandelbaum and founded Umbrian (Latin for "curtain"). Les and Paul immediately embarked on their entrepreneurial journey in the fashion home furnishings.

Today, Umbrian is recognized worldwide as a leader in the home furnishings industry. Our own in-house designer team integrates design elites from all over the world, and our original designs meet the diverse needs of different consumers in various countries. Umbrian's products have been used in more than 120 countries.
