Simon Electric was founded in 1916 by Arturo Simon with its original factory in OLOT, Catalonia, Spain. In 1972, the headquarters of the Simon Group moved to Barcelona, known as the "Flower of Europe".

Simon Electric specializes in the production of Simon brand low-voltage electrical appliances and their accessories, lighting fixtures, and its products also cover building control systems, intelligent security systems and other related diversified products. Simon Electric has been committed to continuous product innovation, has a large number of industrial intellectual property rights, and has won many honors such as "Spanish Royal Outstanding Enterprise Award" and "Spanish Product Design Award".

After 100 years of development, Simon Group has established 21 subsidiaries in China, Russia, India, Brazil, Mexico, Turkey, Poland, Italy, France, Ukraine, Belgium, Morocco, Argentina, Portugal and other countries, set up 17 overseas production bases, and has a sales network covering more than 90 countries and regions on four continents.

Simon in China

In July 1999, Simon Electric came to China and established its first joint venture company, "Simon Qitong", in Hai'an Economic and Technological Development Zone, Jiangsu Province, and in 2002, it established a second joint venture company, "Simon Intelligent Control". In 2008, the two joint ventures "Simon Chitong" and "Simon Intelligent Control" were transformed into wholly foreign-owned enterprises owned by the Spanish Simon Group, and were successively renamed "Simon Electric (China) Co., Ltd." and "Simon E-Commerce (China) Co., Ltd."

Relying on the strong technical support of Simon Group, Simon (China) has set up a R&D team to meet the needs of the Chinese market, and the laboratory focusing on product quality and performance testing has passed the accreditation of China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS), forming a Simon brand household switch socket, lighting fixtures, low-voltage electrical appliances, intelligent control and other related diversified products, with more than 100 patents, and the products have passed the national "CCC" compulsory certification.

With its elegant design, preferred materials, exquisite craftsmanship, safe quality and excellent service, Simon products have frequently appeared in key projects such as the National Stadium (Bird's Nest), the National Aquatics Center (Water Cube), CCTV, the T3 Terminal of the Capital International Airport, the Shanghai World Expo, and the Guangzhou "Asian Games New City", and have established long-term strategic partnerships with well-known domestic real estate companies such as Vanke, Evergrande and Greenland.

Simon (China) has built a complete marketing service network, with more than 30 offices across the country, nearly 2,000 distributors, and its e-commerce business covers all mainstream e-commerce platforms.

Simon (China) has implemented ISO9001-2008 quality, ISO14001-2004 environmental and OHSAS18001:2007 occupational health and safety management systems, all of which have passed TUV certification.
