Paramount Pictures is a famous Hollywood film production and distribution company, founded in May 1912, is the evolution of the famous players production company established by filmmaker Adolph Zukor, a film production company with deep experience in the eight major Hollywood film companies and a long history in the United States. Headquartered in Hollywood, California, the company is now owned by Viacom Media conglomerate. As an established giant in the film industry, Paramount Pictures is known for its star-studded mountains, and has produced many popular films, including "Mission Impossible", "Titanic", "Braveheart", "Tomb Raider" and so on.

In 1912, a young man named Adolf Chukor rented a modest stables near Hollywood, began to shoot films, and founded a famous actor company. In 1913, Jesse Lasky founded the Jesse Lasky Feature Film Company. In 1916, the two production companies merged to form the famous actor Lasky Company. In 1917, the actor Lasky Company merged 12 production companies; Later, Paramount Film Distribution Company was also merged, and in 1927 it was renamed Paramount Actor Laski. In 1930, the new company merged with the Pablix Company, which had many theaters, and changed the name of the company to Paramount Pabrix, and gradually developed into a large Hollywood company. Paramount was the name of one of the companies that was annexed, but 1912 was designated as the founding date of the company.

Born in Hungary by running a vaudeville theater and a fur trader who switched to the film industry in 1903, Adolf Chukol decided to change the convention of making films only for immigrants with little education, and he proved right, and his famous actor company's films succeeded in attracting middle-class audiences, and after the merger of the famous actor company and Jessiraski's company into the newly formed Paramount company, With his strong hand, he was able to take control of the company, which allowed him to make a big move. From the very beginning, Paramount owned a large number of movie theaters and also operated a production business.

At the end of 2005, Paramount acquired DreamWorks, however, this deal did not include DreamWorks Animation, the most profitable division of DreamWorks - DreamWorks Animation, but for this Paramount, this is still significant, because around 2004, Paramount seems to have lost its way, and the films produced are rarely blockbuster, and Steven Spielberg, as a producer, can bring Paramount a number of lucrative projects, the most notable of which is "Transformers".

In October 2008, Paramount and DreamWorks officially separated, but they will still work together on the "Transformers" series. In 2012, the legendary film company celebrated its 100th birthday.
