CHINA NATIONAL RADIO (CNR) IS PART OF CHINA'S STATE ADMINISTRATION OF RADIO, FILM AND TELEVISION. It is the national radio station of the People's Republic of China and one of the important and influential mass media in China.
The Central People's Radio was born on December 30, 1940. The Central People's Radio now operates 9 sets of wireless radio programs, including the Voice of China, the Voice of the Economy, the Voice of Music, the Voice of the City, the Voice of China, the Voice of China, the Voice of China, the Voice of the Nation, and the Voice of Literature and Art, broadcasting 200 hours a day, covering the whole country. At the same time, four digital radio programmes and three mobile radio programmes were launched. The predecessor of the Central People's Radio Station was Yan'an Xinhua Radio, the first people's radio station born in Yan'an, the holy land of the Chinese revolution, on December 30, 1940. On March 25, 1949, Yan'an Xinhua Radio Station (after withdrawing from Yan'an, renamed "Northern Shaanxi Xinhua Radio") began to broadcast in Beiping, using the call sign of Beiping Xinhua Radio, and on December 5, 1949, it was officially named Central People's Radio.
The China National Radio has 40 reporter stations in all provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government, cities specifically designated in the state plan, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the Macao Special Administrative Region, and stationed reporters in Taiwan, China. The four general departments of the People's Liberation Army, major military regions, various branches of the armed forces, and armed police forces have also set up 18 military reporter stations to provide information to the central station. The Central People's Radio initiated the establishment of the China Broadcasting Union, which has more than 140 radio stations across the country, and has established a global Chinese broadcasting network with major Chinese broadcasters in the world, and has established extensive business cooperation with well-known media organizations in most countries and regions around the world.
The Central People's Radio has a leading domestic and world-class digital multimedia studio, recording studio and concert hall, and the production, storage, broadcast and transmission of programs are fully digitized. With more than 2,100 employees, the Central People's Radio is the radio station with the largest number of high-level professionals such as senior editors, senior reporters, broadcast directors, senior engineers, and translators and reviewers in China.
The Central People's Radio has always attached great importance to strengthening exchanges and cooperation with people from all walks of life and various media organizations, and has maintained good bilateral and multilateral cooperative relations with the media at home and abroad.
