Grandall Law Firm was established in June 1998 by Beijing Zhang Yongtao Law Firm, Shanghai Wanguo Law Firm and Shenzhen Tang Law Firm through a merger, and was registered with the Ministry of Justice of the People's Republic of China. The three firms were established in 1992 and 1993 and have a history of more than 20 years.

In March 2011, Grandall Law Firm changed its name to Grandall Law Firm.
