GRASS was founded more than sixty years ago. The history of the Mepla plant goes back even further. As early as 1929, the company already had a furniture accessories factory in Germany. More than 10 years ago, the Mepla plant merged with the Austrian company Alfit AG, which was founded in 1976. Both companies were acquired by the Würth Group in the nineties of the last century. Since 2004, GRASS has also joined the Würth family.
