Shanghai China Travel Service International Travel Service Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Shanghai China Travel Service") was founded in October 1956, formerly known as Shanghai China Travel Service, and was restructured into a limited liability company in September 2003. The business scope includes: inbound tourism, outbound tourism, domestic tourism, business and incentive tourism, conference and exhibition reception, domestic and foreign booking, international and domestic air ticket agency.

China Travel Service Shanghai is the executive director unit of China International Travel Service Association (CATS), the vice president unit of Shanghai Association of Travel Agencies, the member of Pacific Asian Travel Association (PATA) China Branch, the member unit of International Air Transport Association (IATA), the member unit of International Convention and Convention Association (ICCA), the vice chairman unit of Shanghai Civil Air Transport Sales Agency Industry Association, and the president unit of Shanghai MICE Elite Club (SMCC).
