Founded in 1987, Wellford Group is an enterprise group specializing in the production and operation of disposable daily necessities. It is the vice chairman unit of the Household Paper Professional Committee of China Paper Association.

After more than 20 years of development, the group was renamed Shanghai Willford Group Co., Ltd. in February 2013, the group has five subsidiaries in Shanghai and Shaoxing, including Shanghai Villefu Industrial Co., Ltd., Shaoxing Welf Maternity and Child Products Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Welf Paper Co., Ltd., Shaoxing Wittford Household Products Co., Ltd., and Shaoxing Welfort Industrial Co., Ltd., covering an area of more than 200 acres, with more than 100,000 square meters of modern workshops, and dozens of production equipment such as world-class imported paper machines. With an annual production capacity of more than 4 million boxes of daily necessities and 65,000 tons of household paper, the company has formed a one-stop production and marketing system of production, operation and logistics. The product categories have involved four series: sanitary products, baby products, nursing products, and household paper.
