North Huajin Chemical Industry Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Huajin Group") is a petrochemical sub-group of China North Industries Group and the largest civilian industrial enterprise of China North Industries Group. Huajin Group is headquartered in Panjin City, Liaoning Province, and its subsidiaries are located in Panjin City, Liaoning Province, Huludao City, Liaoning Province, Kuqa County, Aksu Prefecture, Xinjiang, and Dongwuqi, Ximeng, Inner Mongolia. It has two holding subsidiaries of Huajin Co., Ltd. and Beili Company, and five shareholding enterprises of Clariant Huajin Catalyst (Panjin) Co., Ltd., Liaoning Beihua Company, Liaoning Jinhe Agricultural Materials Company, Guangzhou Beihua Company and East Wuzhumuqin Banner Tianze Water Supply Company, forming three main business segments of petrochemical industry, chemical fertilizer, road asphalt and lubricating oil base oil. By the end of 2014, Huajin Group had total assets of 35 billion yuan and 12,000 employees. 

Huajin Group was originally a Liaoning provincial enterprise, its predecessor was Liaohe Fertilizer Plant, which is one of the first 13 sets of large fertilizer plants introduced in China, with an annual output of 300,000 tons of synthetic ammonia and 480,000 tons of urea, which was prepared in January 1972 and put into operation in October 1976. In January 1997, Liaotong Chemical Co., Ltd. was established with all the operating assets of Liaohe Chemical Fertilizer and listed in Shenzhen (code 000059 with the stock name of "Liaotong Chemical", and in March 2014, it was renamed as "Huajin Shares"), and acquired Jinxi Chemical Fertilizer. In the same year, the company acquired Panjin ethylene, and the company began to enter the petrochemical field. At the end of 1997, Liaoning Huajin Group was established. In January 2006, Xinjiang Chemical Fertilizer was built, forming three major fertilizer production bases in Panjin, Huludao and Kuqa in Liaoning. 

In March 2006, China North Industries Corporation and the Liaoning Provincial Government signed an agreement to reorganize Huajin, and Huajin Group became a member of the Group. Since the reorganization, in accordance with the strategic deployment of the Ordnance Group to build an overseas petroleum resources-oil refining-ethylene-special chemical industry chain, it has launched a 450,000 tons/year ethylene expansion, 5 million tons/year oil-chemical project, as well as supporting oil storage and transportation, steam boilers, sewage treatment and other "Eleventh Five-Year" key projects, the project was launched in April 2007, completed and put into operation in March 2010, adding 5 million tons/year of oil refining and 1 million tons/year of polymer product production capacity. In July 2010, with the improvement of the petrochemical industry chain as the main line, and the improvement of core competitiveness and development quality as the focus, the North Huajin Group was established by integrating the resources of Liaoning Huajin Group and Panjin Beili Company. 

At present, Huajin Group actively adapts to the new normal of economic development, adheres to maintaining growth, grasping reform, changing the mode and adjusting the structure, and opens a new journey of entrepreneurship for the third time. Through the third venture, Huajin Group will strive to build Huajin Group into a good enterprise with reasonable industrial layout, optimized product structure, advanced system and mechanism, simple and efficient management, high profitability and strong competitiveness in the same industry, and become a leading domestic and international first-class petrochemical and fine chemical industry base.
