Shanxi Tianji Coal Chemical Group Co., Ltd. is located in Lucheng City, Shangdang Basin, formerly known as Shanxi Fertilizer Plant, is the first large-scale modern enterprise in China to produce high-efficiency compound fertilizer with coal as raw material in the early 80s, when it introduced 11 patented technologies and equipment from eight countries including Germany, Japan, France, Norway and other countries. After more than 30 years of development, it has developed from a single compound fertilizer production enterprise to a comprehensive large-scale coal chemical industry group focusing on nitro fertilizer, integrating nitro chemical industry and fine chemical industry.
The company has passed the ISO9002 quality system certification, ISO14000 environment system, measurement system certification and national laboratory accreditation, and the technology center is one of the three "national enterprise technology centers" in Shanxi Province. The self-developed "Development and Application Research of Large-scale Lurgi Coal to Ammonia Technology" won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award. It has won the "Advanced Unit of Safety Production in Shanxi Province" and "Model Enterprise of Safety Production in Shanxi Province" for many times. The Shanxi Provincial Environmental Protection Department summarized the company's water environment risk prevention and control work as four experiences of "attaching great importance to it, systematically assessing, scientific design, and management first" in the province.
