Beijing Foton Daimler Automobile Co., Ltd. was formally established on February 18, 2012 with a total investment of 9,950.6 million yuan.
Foton Motor and Daimler have a 50:50 ratio to produce Foton Daimler's existing "Auman" medium- and heavy-duty truck products and Daimler's licensed emission standards and power, which are the same as the Mercedes-Benz OM457 heavy-duty truck engines with Euro V and 490 horsepower.
Foton Daimler Automobile is user-centric, introducing European truck manufacturing standards, as well as Daimler's leading truck R&D and production technology, to create a new generation of high-quality heavy trucks.
Foton Daimler Automobile has built a global digital super truck factory, with four major processes of stamping, assembly and welding, painting and final assembly, with an annual production capacity of 200,000 units, forming a leading industry-leading whole value chain management system, with more than 900,000 users, more than 800 plus dealers, more than 3,400 service stations, more than 2,000 parts stores, and a sales and service network all over the country.
The products cover four series of Auman ETX, Auman GTL, Auman EST and Auman EST-A, and the product tonnage covers 3T-49T, including more than 200 varieties of tractors, trucks, dump trucks, and various special vehicles.
Beijing Mercedes-Benz Engine Plant - with a total investment of 1 billion yuan, mainly produces Mercedes-Benz OM457 engines with high reliability, fuel economy, strong power and long life, with a design capacity of 45,000 units/year.
At present, the plant has been completed and put into production, and is one of the world's engine factories of Mercedes-Benz.
